Welcome to my photo documentary, Through The Lens of Equality.
As an African American photographer and historian, this project is deeply personal to me. Its purpose is to trace the Civil Rights Movement across both Southern and Northern states, creating a visual journal of places—both celebrated and hidden—that lie at the heart of our nation’s struggle. These sites, often overlooked, were pivotal battlegrounds where injustice was challenged and the path toward equal rights for African Americans was forged.

Through this work, I invite you to journey with me across Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and many other states where the fight for equality left lasting marks. From behind my camera, I offer an introspective perspective—capturing not only the landscapes of struggle but also the spirit of resilience.
